The Gotchiverse can be a bit intimidating, but being familiar with all the concepts in this list will make your experience much smoother.
Take a minute to read through this list before continuing into the Gameplay section, and bookmark it to refer back to it easily!
A shared, immutable ledger that facilitates the process of recording transactions and tracking assets in a business network
A bundle of transactions strung together in a blockchain.
A computer program on Ethereum or other Ethereum-compatible networks that executes, controls and documents legally relevant events and actions according to the terms of the underlying code.
A smart contract standard for "non-fungible tokens", also known as NFTs. The standard used by most NFT projects such as Aavegotchi, REALM Parcels, Bored Apes, and other crypto-art.
A smart contract standard for "semi-fungible tokens", or NFTs that are unique, but also interchangeable (fungible). The standard used for Aavegotchi Wearables, Gotchiverse Installations, and Gotchiverse Tiles.
A digital NFT pet staked with yield-bearing Aave aTokens (Spirit Force).
An escrow contract managed by each Aavegotchi that can hold tokens (GHST, FUD) and NFTs (Baadges, Wearables).
A trustless, onchain lending agreement between Aavegotchi owners and borrowers.
The mortal enemies of Aavegotchis. Also, technically, their creators. Has a rapacious appetite for yield.
ERC721 NFT land owned in the Gotchiverse. Can equip Installations (Aaltar, Haarvester) and Tiles. Can also be surveyed and farm Alchemica.
ERC1155 NFTs that can be placed on top of a REALM Parcel. Some have various purposes and utilities, and some are purely aesthetic.
The building blocks of the Gotchiverse. Used to craft Installations and Tiles.
A powerful portal between the Nether Realm (Gotchiverse) and Ether Realm (Ethereum) through which tokens can flow.
Alchemica spread onto the surface of the Gotchiverse, whether by Alchemical Channeling, Reservoir emptying, or other special events.
The percentage of Alchemica that is spilled over during Alchemical Channeling or Reservoir emptying.
The distance that Alchemica is spilled during Alchemical Channeling or Reservoir emptying.
A ritual that summons Alchemica from the Gotchiverse to fall nearby an Aavegotchi.
An epic clash foretold by the Tree of FUD between Aavegotchis and Lickquidators.
A subset of Installations. Purely a e s t h e t i c .
An ERC1155 NFT that can be placed on a REALM parcel. Rests underneath the Installation layer.
The Gotchiverse is currently in a closed alpha phase, which means you'll need an Aavegotchi to join!
For tips on choosing an Aavegotchi, check out the Choosing a Gotchi guide.
Make sure you have a blockchain wallet such as Metamask, Frame, or WalletConnect installed in your browser.
Don't have a blockchain wallet? Check out this helpful tutorial on setting one up!
The Gotchiverse is deployed on Polygon Mainnet, a sidechain of Ethereum. To enter, you'll first need to connect to Polygon.
Visit https://verse.aavegotchi.com (the official Gotchiverse dApp). If you see a "Switch to Polygon" button, simply click that button to connect to Polygon network.
In our current phase, an Aavegotchi is required to enter the Gotchiverse.
There are two main ways to acquire an Aavegotchi:
Purchase one from the Aavegotchi Baazaar
Borrow one trustlessly using Gotchi Lending
MATIC token is the gas token of Polygon, which means you'll need to spend some to make transactions on the network.
You can get MATIC token by bridging from Ethereum, topping up with a credit card, or swapping other tokens.
Both of the options in Step #3 may require you to spend some GHST Token, so if you don't have any yet, you can easily acquire some via Quickswap, the leading DEX on Polygon, or Binance.
Once you've gotten your Aavegotchi, you can now enter the Great Portal and spawn in the Gotchiverse!
We have the best game devs in crypto! They are constantly shipping new features to the Gotchiverse.
Here's what you can do right now in the Gotchiverse:
Decorate your REALM Parcel with limited edition tiles and Installations;
Build up your farming operation and start harvesting Alchemica;
Earn Gotchi UBI by Channeling with your Aavegotchi every day;
Pick up Alchemica spilled by other players (currently happens every Saturday 2PM-4PM UTC!);
Chat with your friends via Chat Bubbles;
Check out people's parcels to get some inspiration for your own.
The Gotchiverse is an ambitious, multiyear project being developed together by Pixelcraft Studios and AavegotchiDAO, the governing body of the Aavegotchi NFT Gaming Protocol.
It's generally impossible to predict accurate dates for new feature releases, but we are following the general roadmap below for major releases.
This major release allows players to equip Alchemical Aaltars and Golden Aaltars onto the parcel and channel Alchemica. Aaltars can be upgraded with Alchemica and the upgrades can be sped up by spending GLTR token.
Status: Complete
This major release allows players to survey their parcel for Alchemica and then equip Harvesters, Reservoirs, and the Maaker Bot to their parcel, enabling farming and collecting Alchemica directly from the parcel.
Status: Complete
This major release introduces the NFT Display -- an installation used for displaying NFTs of various sizes into the Gotchiverse. It also introduces the Paarty Portal, an installation that can be used to create events that support deep links to spawn at a specific location directly in the Gotchiverse.
Status: Complete
This major release synthesizes the unique traits of each Aavegotchi and Wearable to give every Aavegotchi in the Gotchiverse a different gameplay experience.
PVP between Gotchis will also be introduced in the Citaadel in a special area known as the Traaining Ground.
Status: Under Development
This major release allows developer to hook into the Gotchiverse to create custom experiences on their parcel.
Status: Planning
This major release allows players to link parcels adjacent to each other into an Estaate, which gives various benefits to the Estaate owner
Status: Not Started
This major release introduces the Gotchi Lodge, a special Installation within the Gotchiverse that contains an "interior" room outside of the overworld.
Guilds will also be able to set Wearables as their official Guild Crest, and perform a form of communal channeling known as "Guild Channeling" once a week.
Status: Not Started
This major release introduces a completely new playable area known as "The Grid", as well as new quests, storylines, and a completely new playable character -- the Lickquidator, mortal enemy of the Aavegotchis.
Status: Not Started
We also have many smaller features that are being worked on outside of the Major Releases.
Check if it's already on our Feature Request board, and if not, definitely add it!
Alongside their Recipe Book, the Aadepts also left behind a handy comparison chart of how they anticipated Gotchis may build out their parcels in the Gotchiverse.
Of course, what strategy you follow depends on many individual factors, such as the results of your Surveying, nearby boosts, and your individual personality.
This is not financial advice!
Upfront Cost is how much Alchemica this build requires.
Potential Yield is the multiplier of how much Alchemica this build will yield (in raw Alchemica terms) once the Parcel has been emptied.
The Gotchiverse is the birth place and home planet of Aavegotchis. Located in the Nether Realm -- the graveyard of the Ether Realm -- the Gotchiverse was formed from the debris of the Ether Realm over many years of liquidations and token burns.
The Gotchiverse used to be a safe and joyful world, until it was discovered by the Lickquidators, a mechanical species of predator native to the Ether Realm. Lickquidators love nothing more than to feast on yield-bearing assets, and their discovery of the Gotchiverse whipped them into a feeding frenzy unlike anything ever seen before.
Now, the Aavegotchis must prepare to defend the Gotchiverse against an invasion of the Lickquidators, as prophesied by the Tree of FUD.
Luckily, they aren't on their own. They have YOU, their human protectors, to provide them resources and aid.
Together, humankind and Gotchi-kin must band together to defend this beautiful world against the desecration of the Lickquidators!
The Gotchiverse is a community-driven farming RPG set in an open, persistent world built on the blockchain. Farm resources to build a unique home, mingle with friends, and fortify your defenses against the impending invasion of the Lickquidators!
The Gotchiverse is an always-on shared world, happening in realtime. Meet and play with new frens from around the world, no matter where you are.
No walled gardens here! Everything you earn in the Gotchiverse can be traded freely via the blockchain, a decentralized transfer layer.
We believe the "metaverse" should be accessible to all, no matter your graphics card. That’s why the Gotchiverse is built in Phaser, a minimalist 2D game engine.
The Gotchiverse is built on the Aavegotchi NFT Gaming Protocol and governed by AavegotchiDAO, a diverse group of asset owners in the Aavegotchi ecosystem.
We’re creating something together that’s built to last.
Time to Break Even is how fast you will recoup your Upfront Cost (assuming you everything immediately using GLTR).
Recommended Altar Level is the highest level of Altar this build will require. Depending on your , this may vary one or two levels.

Before they sacrificed themselves to create the Great Portal and the Citaadel, the Nine Aadepts penned a mysterious book full of recipes.
At the time, no one in the Gotchiverse knew what these recipes did or how to use them, but after years of research and development, the Gotchiverse scientists finally uncovered how to use them to craft Installations and Tiles in the Gotchiverse.
Now, behold the Aadepts Recipe Book!
Click through to find recipes and benefits for each type of Haarvester and Reservoir.

When choosing a Gotchiverse Land Parcel there are three factors to consider:
Parcel Size
Location
Alchemica Boosts.
Gotchiverse REALM parcels come in three sizes: Humble, Reasonable, and Spacious. Smaller parcels are less expensive, but also have lower Alchemica stores and less surface area to equip Installations. Larger parcels are more expensive, but have bigger Alchemica stores and more surface area for equipping Installations.
Location is another important factor when choosing your Gotchiverse REALM parcel. Although for now it’s pure speculation, some GotchiGang members also believe certain districts are more valuable than others for various reasons. For example District 1 is the innermost location in the Citaadel, DIstrict 27 is home to Pixelcraft Studios, and District 30 is home to the AavegotchiDAO.
Guild affiliation is another reason to consider location. Many Aavegotchi Guilds have laid claim to various Citaadel Districts. If you are a member of a certain guild then you may want to choose a parcel based on your guild’s location for easier coordination of in-game activities.
Location is also important for Estaate building in the Gotchiverse. To build a Gotchiverse Estaate, you must own two or more adjacent parcels no more than 8 Gotchis apart from one another.
The final factor to consider when choosing a parcel is Alchemica boosts. Parcels located next to Alchemica boosts will have bonus amounts of Alchemica added to their parcel’s base amount in each act, making them more valuable and highly sought after.
Aavegotchis are the reincarnated souls of yield farmers liquidated in the Ether Realm, which means they're pros at farming!
Here's some of the ways you can farm and earn tokens in the Gotchiverse:
Installations that aren't useful to you anymore can be demolished. Demolishing an Alchemical Aaltar, Haarvester, Reservoir, or Maaker burns the underlying NFT and returns 50% of the Alchemica invested into it, including upgrades.
Decorations, however, can be freely equipped and unequipped without burning the NFT.
Demolishing cannot be undone once confirmed onchain, so be very careful!
Important note: AavegotchiDAO will be voting soon to potentially remove the 50% Refund, so do not include this refund in your calculations until that vote has finished.
Full guide coming soon!
Gotchi Lending is the Aavegotchi protocol’s solution to the scalability dilemma facing NFT Gaming, and our improvement on the scholarship model made popular by other play-to-earn games. It ensures Aavegotchi NFTs get into the hands of players as seamlessly as possible.
The Aavegotchi Owner sets the terms of the lending smart contract, the borrower then agrees to the terms and uses the Aavegotchi in the Gotchiverse. Once the contract is ended, profits are split and the Aavegotchi is returned to its original owner.
When creating a new Gotchi Lending listing, the owner determines how much to charge the borrower up front. Most listings have a minimal upfront cost, or none at all.
The Aavegotchi owner also determines the profit split between themselves and the borrower. They’ll choose which tokens to split, and also what percentage to divide the profits. Many guilds have predetermined rates, however on the open lending market you will find a wide range of profit splits.
Aavegotchi owners also have the ability to share profits with a third party. This feature is especially useful for guilds and larger organizations. Profits can be split between the asset owner, the borrower, and the guild’s treasury (or any other third party address).
When the Lending Contract’s duration is up, it can be ended by either party. Once it is ended the tokens earned are split per the agreed upon percentages. Note: If the agreement is not ended after time has expired it will continue indefinitely.
To claim tokens a borrower must first deposit any collected spillover Alchemica into a vortex marked on the minimap. After this either they or the Aavegotchi’s owner can claim the tokens via an on-chain transaction.
Any tokens not deposited at the vortex will be automatically distributed per the terms of the contract once the lending contract has been ended.
Gotchi Lending allows players to lend their Aavegotchis to themselves for maximum security! Players can hold their Aavegotchis on a hardware wallet, but lend them out to a hot wallet. Even if the private keys for the hot wallet are stolen, the Aavegotchis will remain safe, as lent Gotchis cannot be transferred. Set up is simple and requires just a few steps.
Head to your Aavegotchi page with your hardware wallet connected, and click the “Lend” button under the Aavegotchi you want to lend.
Before creating the listing, click the “View Whitelists” button. Then click “Add Whitelist”, and create a new Whitelist, with your HOT WALLET as the only member. This will prevent other players from borrowing your Aavegotchi.
Once your Whitelist is created, note its unique ID (a 3 or 4-digit number) then head back to the Lend dialog. Input the Whitelist ID, along with a duration (just one hour is fine). Then click the “Next Step” button.
If you’d prefer all of your profit to flow back to the hardware wallet, set Owner to 100%. If you’d prefer funds to stay in the hot wallet, set Borrower to 100%. Or if you’d like them to flow somewhere else, set “Other” to 100% and set a Third-party address.
Finally, confirm your listing, and use your hot wallet to execute the listing on-chain. Your Gotchi will be transferred to the hot wallet, and will stay there until you claim it back. Now you can enter the Gotchiverse securely and conveniently without worry!
The Gotchiverse is a mysterious place, formed from the debris of burned and liquidated tokens in the Ether Realm.
Alchemica often appears on the surface of the Gotchiverse, where Gotchis can scurry to pick it up.
Each Aavegotchi can carry a certain amount of Alchemica before it becomes encumbered and cannot pick up any more. This number is known as its Carrying Capacity. Currently, the carrying capacity of all Aavegotchis is 250 pieces of Alchemica.
Many events can trigger Alchemica to appear on the surface of the Gotchiverse, such as:
Alchemical Channeling
Emptying a Reservoir
Special events
So, when you're traveling around the Gotchiverse, keep an eye out for these small bits of Alchemica on the ground. Over time, they definitely add up!
Note: Spillover of Alchemical channeling and Reservoirs is currently disabled, except for during the Aavegotchi Weekly Haangout, every Saturday from 2PM to 4PM UTC time.
Alchemical Channeling is a ritual performed by an Aavegotchi that harnesses Alchemica from the surrounding Gotchiverse atmosphere and releases it nearby the Aavegotchi.
Each Aavegotchi can perform one Alchemical Channeling every 24 hours.
After each channeling, the Alchemical Aaltar has a cooldown period, which gets reduced with each level of upgrading.
Once the Alchemica has been harnessed from the Aaltar, it then gets transferred to the Aavegotchi. A portion goes directly to the owner of the Aavegotchi (or to the Gotchi Pocket), and the rest gets distributed nearby on the surface in a process known as Spillover.
The level of the Alchemical Aaltar determines the Spillover Radius, Spillover Rate, and also the cooldown before the next Channeling can be initiated.
The exact amount of Alchemica received depends on the channeling Gotchi's Kinship Score. The exact formula for calculating the amount based on Kinship is:
Thus, higher Kinship Scores result in higher Alchemical Channeling amounts.
Don't forget to pet your Gotchis!!!
Buried deep within the Gotchiverse are huge lodes of Gotchus Alchemica, just waited to be excavated. Aavegotchi technologists have spent years researching techniques to unearth these deposits of FUD, FOMO, ALPHA, and KEK, culminating in the invention of three special pieces of machinery -- Haarvesters, Reservoirs, and Maakers.
Haarvesters are powerful machines capable of reaching deep into the Gotchiverse's ethereal layer to excavate Alchemica buried below the REALM parcel. Since each Alchemica's composition is different, different Haarvesters are required to mine FUD, FOMO, ALPHA, and KEK. As Haarvesters increase in level, their harvesting rate also increases, up to a maximum of Level 9.
Reservoirs are holding tanks specially designed to store Alchemica after it has been harvested. Alchemica in its stored state is quite volatile, and during the process of emptying a Reservoir, some of the stored Alchemica seeps out, resulting in Spillover. Upgrading the Reservoir increases the Capacity of the Reservoir, while also reducing the spillover rate and radius, up to a maximum of Level 9. Reservoirs on a parcel can only be emptied every eight hours.
You must place a Reservoir of the equivalent Alchemica type onto your parcel before placing a Haarvester.
Before you can begin farming your parcel, it needs to undergo the process of Surveying.
Surveying scans the Gotchiverse around your parcel for buried Alchemica, and combined with the surface-level deposits (known simply as Boosts), gives an accurate output of exactly how much Alchemica your REALM parcel contains.
To begin surveying, simply install an Alchemical Aaltar on your parcel, click on it to enter your parcel dashboard, and tap the "Survey Parcel" button.
Congratulations, your REALM Parcel has been surveyed!
Now let's see how it stacks up against the average base value of other parcels in Act 1!
Act 1 is split into 10 separate rounds.
During the first round, you'll receive 25% of the average Alchemica, as see in the chart below.
Over the remaining 9 rolls, the rest of your parcel's alchemica will be discovered and distributed, with each round distributing roughly 8.3% of the average amount.
The chart below gives the total average Alchemica for each parcel type throughout Act I.
As prophesied by the Tree of FUD, the Gotchiverse will soon head into a perilous period of strife and chaos. The Lickquidators are preparing their invasion of the Gotchiverse, with each conflict known formally as a Great Battle.
After each Great Battle has ended, your REALM will regain the ability to Survey, and after surveying, it will dig deeper into the Gotchiverse, discovering more Alchemica.
Upgrading is the process of increasing the level of an Installation on your REALM parcel. Most upgrades require a combination of the four Alchemica to initiate, and take a certain number of blocks to finish.
For example, upgrading FUD Harvester Level 1 to Level 2 requires 178 FUD and 89 FOMO, and it requires 86400 blocks to complete. One block is equivalent to roughly 2.1 seconds of time.
If you don't want to wait, but confirm your upgrade immediately, you can opt to spend GLTR token when you initiate the upgrade. 1 GLTR token is equivalent to 1 block of time. So in the above example, by spending 86,400 GLTR, you can confirm the upgrade immediately.
GLTR can be purchased, or it can be earned by providing liquidity for Alchemica and GHST Token on Quickswap.
The GLTR token emission schedule is structured as follows:
The total supply of GLTR tokens is capped at 1 trillion.
For the first 8 years, the annual mint rate decreases gradually.
From year 9 onwards, the annual mint rate remains constant at 2.42%.
The tokens are minted each year based on the percentage rates outlined in the plan.
Here's a breakdown of the GLTR token emission plan by year:
By default, each REALM Parcel can only process one upgrade at a time. This can be extended by installing a Maaker Installation onto the parcel. For each level of the Maaker, the number of concurrent upgrades allowed on a parcel increases by one.
Aavegotchis love farming, but they also have a keen appreciation of everything beautiful. This sense of aestheticism manifests within the Gotchiverse in the form of Decorations and Tiles -- objects that have no inherent utility, but are simply pleasing to the eye.
Decorations are Installations that can be placed on a parcel just like the Aalchemical Aaltar or a Haarvester. They take up space on the parcel, and can even obstruct movement when bumped into.
Tiles are placed underneath Installations, and do not obstruct movement.
Both Decorations and Tiles can be equipped and unequipped without being demolished.
Decorations and Tiles are typically purchased via the Crafting Table, for a limited period of time. Once this Crafting Period has ended, they can never be crafted again!
Over time, these debris broke down into their building blocks, what Aavegotchis call the "Gotchus Alchemica", or just .
The Alchemica can then be claimed for the human partner of the Aavegotchi by visiting a Vortex -- special locations in the Gotchiverse where Alchemica can be transferred from the Nether Realm back to the Ether Realm, directly into your wallet, or the Gotchi Pocket, if it's been borrowed via .
To perform Alchemical Channeling, an Aavegotchi must visit an it has permission to channel from (see ) and initiate Alchemical Channeling.
Maakers are highly specialized robots that have been engineered to allow multithreading of a parcel, meaning that multiple can be run concurrently. Without a Maaker, only one upgrade can be run at once. The maximum level of a Maaker is 9, meaning that ten upgrades can be run concurrently.
The level of your parcel's Alchemical Aaltar determines the maximum level you can upgrade Reservoirs, Haarvesters, and Maakers. See .
Check out the to buy Decorations and Tiles after their crafting period is over.

It's important to consider the security of your assets while playing in the Gotchiverse.
Accidentally leaking your private key or seed phrase can lead to a devastating hack where you lose everything.
Please follow this handy guide to set yourself up for security success in the Gotchiverse!
Ledger or Trezor are both okay. Always purchase directly from the source. Never purchase your hardware wallet from a third party like Amazon, Ebay, etc.
When you unbox your new hardware wallet, make sure you write down the recovery seed phrase and store it in multiple separate places.
Transfer all of your Aavegotchis, REALM parcels, and any other valuables you have to the hardware wallet.
Don't worry, you'll still be able to use them after following the next steps.
Once the Gotchis are safely in your hardware wallet, create a hot wallet using Metamask, Frame, or another browser wallet. You can also use an existing wallet, if you have one.
This is where the magic starts to happen.
Using Gotchi Lending, you can trustlessly lend the Gotchis from your hardware wallet to the hot wallet.
Simply setup a Whitelist to your hot wallet address, and then specify this whitelist ID when you create the Gotchi Lending listing.
Then use your hot wallet to execute the Gotchi Lending listing. Your Gotchi is now safely locked into your hot wallet.
Even if a hacker gets your private key or seed phrase, the worst they could do is send the Gotchi back to your hardware wallet.
Now your Gotchi is in your hot wallet, allowing convenient access to the Gotchiverse.
The final step is to enable Parcel Access Rights for Borrowed Gotchis for all parcels in your hardware wallet.
This will allow you to perform various actions on your hot wallet with your hot wallet, such as building or emptying your Reservoir.
You can transfer any Installations or Alchemica you'd like to use for that building session to your hot wallet.
When the Installations are unequipped, they will return to the secured hardware wallet address, not the hot wallet!
That's it! You have now enabled convenient, secure access to the Gotchiverse and hack-proofed your Aavegotchi assets 🚀
The subgraph of the Gotchiverse
This subgraph provides all the information you need for the gotchiverse: Events, Parcels, Gotchis, Installations, Tiles and more.
Watch out! The subgraph is a WIP and things might change over time. Please follow the #subgraphs channel at the Aavegotchi Discord if you integrate the subgraph into your dapp.
The endpoint is available here: https://api.thegraph.com/subgraphs/name/aavegotchi/gotchiverse-matic.
The Playground where you can try out queries can be found here.
The schema consists out of basically three different kinds of entities: Events, State and Stats. We have for each event emitted on chain a Event entitiy on the subgraph whichs logs all the data. Such as Transfer events, Mint Parcel events or EquipTile events. The State holds the latest state of the Parcels, Gotchis, Installations and Tiles. Finally the Stats hold information about the Gotchiverse, the user, the parcels and gotchis.
You can find at the Playground or in the github repo the entire Schema: https://github.com/aavegotchi/gotchiverse-subgraph/blob/main/schema.graphql
In this section we provide some example queries which should help you to get first ideas of what to fetch from the graph and how to do it. You can insert all events on the Playground and get the results. If you need help on how to integrate those queries in your app please take a look into the General Section.
You can query the subgraph for almost every event happened on chain. From transfers, to equip / unequip of installations and tiles also to parcel access rights and more.
We store a lot of information about the Parcles, but very less for Gotchis, because the core matic subgraph already maintains the gotchi information. We store for both entity types the last channeled alchemica attribute. For the parcels we also store the size, the coordinates, the alchemica boost and the equipped tiles and installations.
You can query all the possible Installation and Tiles types with their pre requisites and alchemica costs.
We store some stats for the entire gotchisverse, but also for users, parcel and gotchis.
If you find bugs or have feature requests please create an issue in the github repository. If you want to hack something please just talk to us at the Aavegotchi Discord.

Verify your Discord in the Gotchiverse to unlock a restricted account.
If your name turns red in the Gotchiverse, it means your account has been flagged and restricted due to high probability of botting or other abuse.
The fastest way to remove this restriction is by linking your Discord account to the Gotchiverse.
Step 1: Visit https://verse.aavegotchi.com and click the Gear (Settings) icon after connecting your wallet.
Once your Discord account is linked, a score is generated to determine your Trust level.
After linking your Discord, if your account is still restricted, you can try the following actions:
Action 1: Update your profile picture in Discord
Action 2: Join the Aavegotchi Discord server at https://discord.gg/aavegotchi
Action 3: Read the instructions in #how-to-verify and then send commands in #get-verified. Verifying with CaptchaBot will give you a gray @AAVESOME role. Verifying with Collab.land will give you a pink @GOTCHIGANG role or green @LAANDLORD role.
Action 4: Enable Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in Discord. Instructions on how to enable MFA (also known as 2FA) can be found here: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/219576828-Setting-up-Two-Factor-Authentication.
After performing the above actions, go back to the Gotchiverse settings page. Disconnect your Discord, and re-connect it. Now your account should be unrestricted!
