# Text Chat

Two types of chatting are currently available in the Gotchiverse: **Global chat** and **Local chat**. 

**Global chat** is available in the Chat window and can be seen by everyone in your District, or the entire Citaadel.

**Local chat**, also known as Chat Bubbles, only last for a few seconds and can only be seen by those in your immediate vicinity.
